Rasi Associates was founded by Dr. Richard A. Rasi.
Dr. Rasi started Rasi Associates in 1989. He had a vision of bringing together a team
of people who trusted and liked each other; who had a good time working together; who were
down to earth, smart, open, authentic, and spiritually alive. He believed that only if we,
the associates, had those characteristics could we help our clients achieve their goals.
Dr. Rasi believed in the art of possibility, and saw Rasi Associates always expanding
to provide services in the communities who were underserved. He had a special interest in
Rasi Associates becoming a place where gay men, lesbians, and other individuals seeking to
integrate spirituality and psychology could find a place to go. He wanted Rasi Associates
to be a group practice providing therapeutic and consultation services to individuals and
organizations that believe in their capacity to change and grow.
Dr. Rasi achieved his dream. Before his death in 2002, he saw Rasi Associates grow in
the number of associates, the services we provide, and the reputation we have earned.
Those of us working at Rasi Associates now continue to honor his legacy and carry out his
vision. He was our friend, our colleague, our mentor. He is our inspiration now.
